Insurance
For motor, fleet and property insurers and MGAs building data-driven products.
- Usage-based motor insurance (PAYD, PHYD)
- Crash detection and automated first notice of loss
- IoT risk prevention for home and commercial property
We help insurers, property companies, agribusinesses and biogas producers choose, integrate and run telematics, IoT and AI systems that cut costs and claims. Engineering-led advice from the team behind the Estiq property platform.
Each of these businesses has the same underlying problem: physical assets producing data that nobody fully trusts or uses. We fix the chain from sensor to decision, and add AI where it improves the decision.
For motor, fleet and property insurers and MGAs building data-driven products.
For lenders, insurers, agencies, portals and building owners.
For agro-holdings, farm managers and agricultural investors.
For biogas and biomethane plant operators and their investors.
For infrastructure, renewable energy and land reclamation projects.
Across every industry above, wherever a recurring decision has data behind it.
Most engagements follow the same path. You can stop after any step and keep everything we have produced.
You describe the problem; we tell you honestly whether we can help and what it would involve.
We review your systems, data and costs on site and remotely, then quantify where the money is going.
A target architecture, business case and vendor shortlist, with a tender or pilot plan if needed.
We oversee rollout and integration, check data quality against reality and train your team.
Telematics vendors give free advice that leads to their own product. We earn nothing from any vendor, so the recommendation follows your numbers.
We don't take referral fees or margins on third-party hardware, software or connectivity. Where one of our own Estiq products fits, we say so openly. If the right answer is to keep your current system, we will say that too.
Fuel saved, claims avoided, hours recovered. We build the business case before you spend anything, and measure against it afterwards.
The people who advise you understand CAN-bus frames, GNSS error and insurance scoring models, and they are the same people who check the rollout.
We specify open interfaces and data exports so you are never locked into a single supplier.
Short answers to the questions we hear most. Each industry page goes into more depth.
An independent telematics consultant helps a company decide what data to collect from vehicles, machines or buildings, which hardware and software to buy, and how to connect it to existing systems. Because the consultant earns nothing from vendors, the recommendation is based only on the client's costs, risks and operations.
Pay-As-You-Drive (PAYD) prices motor insurance on how much a vehicle is driven, usually kilometres and time of day. Pay-How-You-Drive (PHYD) prices it on how the vehicle is driven: braking, acceleration, cornering, speeding and phone use. Both are forms of usage-based insurance (UBI).
Yes, when sensors are paired with automatic shut-off valves and a clear response process. Water escape is one of the most frequent causes of property claims, and most of the cost comes from leaks that run unnoticed for hours. Detecting and stopping them early limits damage to a fraction of the typical claim.
Integrating Cropwise Operations with machinery telemetry, fuel sensors, weighbridges and accounting gives an agribusiness its real cost per hectare by field. Managers can then find fuel losses, overlapping passes and over-application, and compare each field's cost against its yield.
A drone flies a magnetometer one to three metres above the ground and records small distortions in the Earth's magnetic field caused by buried iron and steel. Every reading is positioned with RTK-GNSS, and the processed map shows where buried ferrous objects are likely. A certified clearance team then investigates each target.
The first 30-minute call is free. Most clients then commission a fixed-price diagnostic with a defined scope and deliverables, agreed in writing before work starts. Ongoing support afterwards is billed as a monthly retainer or by the day, whichever suits the project.
NRZ Technologies is headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, advising clients across the European Union.
We started in agricultural telematics, connecting mixed machinery fleets, fuel level probes, and farm management software for commercial agribusinesses. The exact same data engineering discipline applies wherever physical machinery, buildings, or vehicles produce telemetry: motor and property insurance, smart buildings, biogas reactors, and airborne geophysical surveys.
We also build and run our own data-intensive products. Estiq computes automated property valuations (AVMs) across Estonia using notarised transaction data from the Land Board, and Estiq Virtual Staging processes listing imagery for brokerage portals across Europe. Deploying and maintaining production AI products keeps our engineering advice grounded in practical reality.
Clients work directly with the senior engineers executing the analysis. We take on a strictly limited number of advisory engagements at any given time, ensuring personal involvement until systems deliver verified operational numbers.

In 30 minutes we can usually identify where the bottleneck sits and whether it makes economic sense to fix. Direct technical discussion, zero sales pitch.
